I am entering the contest so I can help contribute to the homebrew community. A friend and I am developing a couple of homebrew applications. I am doing the coding and he is doing the graphics. Receiving this G6 Lite package will allow us to try the application on a DS instead of just an emulator. This will allow us to see exactly how the graphics work, try out the wifi, and other stuff that is only possible with the actual hardware. We will be enriching the homebrew community.
Here’s an illustration that shows why we need to see how the applications run on the DS instead of emulators. Notice how the colors are different for each emulator. The two applications you see are a dartboard scoring application and a hexagon strategy game. Both are in early stages of development. In fact we only have spent about a week learning how to use PAlib when these screenshots were created. Note: the shown graphics are just quick placeholders in learning how to use the libraries.
