I know im a little late... but... please accept this post.. I had no access to the internet in the past 18 days.
Hi, I'm Max, a soldier in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF),
I live originally in Russia, I came to Israel to to serve because im a jewish patriot.
I'm a lone soldier, whose income is fairly low... and would like something to make the service more fun...
And why I think I deserve the G6 for numerous reasons...
First of all, in a month we get only 500NIS which is roughly $100, (I had to save a 2 Months sallary only to buy a Nintendo DS), in Israel it costs like twice the price everywhere else.
Second of all, guarding is a pain, and I do 4 guarding shifts of 4 hours each per week, and I just have to have something to pass my time, I only have two games so far on my Nintendo DS, Tetris DS and Super Mario 64, and I already have finished mario like 3 times... I really have to have that card, I'm getting killed out of boredom, and the post where they put me to guard is senseless, since what im basically guarding from are mostly foxes, dogs, deer and little turtles.
Also in the corps I serve, we're exposed to quite serious radiation levels so our life span decreases, I'll probably end up being called Sergeant Cancer.
I also have a commanding officer nick named Lios, he's looks like Mr.Potato Head, and he gives us the hard time, he makes us go out home 3 days every 21 days which is a biatch, and thusly we guard even more on weekends, I just really need something to past the time with.
I mean, this card can really be a life saver, if I could put there some books, some games, man,...
A part from guarding, when we go out on missions , we go out to either isolated places, such as cliffs on the edges of mountains near Palestinian cities, and those places, well, after u get used to hearing tanks bomb and terrorists firing recklessly everywhere, it gets quite boring, and again, this card can save the day.
in case u dont believe me, here is a photo of me near Nablus, pretty darn frustrating I'd say... beautiful view thou, but gets pretty much tiresome when u dont have anything much to do, except playing Mario 64 all over again...:
