I'll probably get in some HOT WATER for these thoughts, but I'll live with it, I'm a woman, a woman without a 9 to 5 job. I pay the bills with my computer selling work at home info, a few say I'm an expert at it, but withouot a doubt not everyone; and often I catch flak.
What I look for in a candidate and what I try to accomplish in life, is honor what I've promised, and that goes double for when I'm doing a job for a client (a website or book) or when I promise someone I'll help them volunteer "next saturday". While it is often something I don't necessarily want to do that day , and other things might be more fun, still I have given my word and I'll do my best to stay true to my word.
This is not say there are not times when situations suggested that I turn go a different way when initially I thought the first was was in order. However, this only happened at the prodding of surprising circumstances, not because I've decided on a different path for profit, be it financial or political.
While I fully expect to find a woman in the Oval Office oneday, I have concerns that Mrs. Clinton is not the candidate for the the high office. Certainly the lady can answer questions, but I fear that her inner being is not what we need in the Oval office, be it male or female.
It is not easy in this day to find a candidate we can have trust in, a candidate we can earnestly be linked with and encourage with our income, time and talent. Last night I listened with open ears when Janet Huckabee spoke with love and admiration concerning her "High School Sweetheart", it made me emotional when I learned how her husband stayed beside her through illness.
My dear mother left this life recently, and near the end of her time on this earth, I was her care giver. Maybe those years causes me to be more sensitive to someone who has done the same... maybe. Still, Mike Huckabee is now someone I'll follow with reflection. He doesn't necessarily have my vote, but he has my attention.
Comments?
I don't have a political mailing list, mine is for work at home opportunities, but I invite you to stop
by and as Hillary (lol) said... "let's chat".
